Well the '91-'92 wheel should have an airbag, right? Wouldn't that be a nightmare to retrofit?

If you don't care about the airbag, I don't see why the steering wheel wouldn't work. BUtI'm not sure.

Just out of curiousity then, why use the '91-'92 wheel? You'd wind up with a big ol' non-functioning airbag, unless you're planning to use that area for something else. Radio controls (It'd be easier to get an '89 wheel, wouldn't it?), maybe an LCD? Hmm...

hmmm...the steering column on the 91-92 are different from all the other years. Like the 91-92 is longer cause of hte air bag system. When I put a grant steering wheel in my car I had to shave down the column part cause it kept rubbing againts the hub adapter. So it would go on...but the wheel might sit allite more farhter away from you. Also...why put a stock wheel when you could put an aftermarket one?

I wouldn't go aftermarket. Most aftermarket parts just look wrong on our cars.

I am still curious as to why swap wheels in the first place. Purely cosmetic?

Fair enough.

If you find one in a junk yard you might want to consider the whole colum though, just in case there are clearance issues. Just a thought.

Yeah right aftermarket wheels don't look right!!!!! Well i kinda like mine a whole bunch. Oh yeah i have a stock 92 wheels just hanging in my garage right now, but the airbag went to a guy in Canada. I'll sell ya my wheel, if you can get an airbag for it.

Yours does look pretty good, but with your gauges you sort of have a retro look going there. Your wheel in front of my bone-stock dash would look awful.
