Sorry that is rice. Not to flame you. But at least paint it to match teh color of the car. You don't know how many Honduhs, have blue paint and red drums.Originally posted by FLYNLOW92rs

Or the Mitsubishis w/ green paint and orange drums...You don't know how many Honduhs, have blue paint and red drums
painting them is very rice

Painting them a bright color is stupid. Drum brakes aren't something I would want to show off to the world. If anything, paint them black.

When I used to have drums on my 90 RS they looked like hell. I had planned to paint them to match the color of the car, but Revlimit solved my problems and swapped a B/W disk rear in there for me. My truck has drum rears and they are painted to match the truck. I think it looks really nice too see another color/shade behind the spinning wheel (be it a color or polished metal). I'm also a fan of painting brake calipers to accent the car. Its all the little things (like that) that add up to make a project unique. It just goes to show that the owner takes pride in their ride and is willing to spend time on it. Nothing '*****' about it at all to me. Not that I care what other people think anyway ....

i think that painting them the same color as the car wouldnt look bad
but a contrasting color is ricy, imo

I dont have any pics to show the wheels with the brakes behind them. But whenever my friend lets me barrow his digital camera I'll snap some pics of the truck as well as the B4C.
cool
i wasnt requesting them for the brakes but that would be a bonus
i have a thing for slammed hotrodded trucks
