has anyone polished there aluminum rear drums on a camaro

postpics if you have

i was cleaningmy wheels today an dthose dull aluminum drums look like sh*t

You have aluminum drums??? Do I? either way, polishing them looks like a pain in the butt.

If its not that do it so we can see some pics. Or swap them out for disc brakes like I did.

I just painted mine red.......may be a little "rice"......but IMO they look better then they did before.....

Sorry that is rice. Not to flame you. But at least paint it to match teh color of the car. You don't know how many Honduhs, have blue paint and red drums.

Painting them a bright color is stupid. Drum brakes aren't something I would want to show off to the world. If anything, paint them black.

When I used to have drums on my 90 RS they looked like hell. I had planned to paint them to match the color of the car, but Revlimit solved my problems and swapped a B/W disk rear in there for me. My truck has drum rears and they are painted to match the truck. I think it looks really nice too see another color/shade behind the spinning wheel (be it a color or polished metal). I'm also a fan of painting brake calipers to accent the car. Its all the little things (like that) that add up to make a project unique. It just goes to show that the owner takes pride in their ride and is willing to spend time on it. Nothing '*****' about it at all to me. Not that I care what other people think anyway ....

I dont have any pics to show the wheels with the brakes behind them. But whenever my friend lets me barrow his digital camera I'll snap some pics of the truck as well as the B4C.

yeah its all for show .... i think i can run faster than my truck. but still ... I like it alot and it was alot of fun. only regret was the engine choice. Here's a pic from when it was on the 17's:
