Left my t-tops off, now what?

It rained a little on the inside of my car, and now the red buttons on the seat belts look all faded. Almost like a white film or soap scum on them or something.

Any ideas on how to get them back to the brilliant red again??

Q: What is the purpose of the "seat belt" recall?

A: This is for the 1984 to 1990 Camaros. Some of the button assemblies on the seat belts will not connect or release over time. The buttons also become discolored (to a pink color) and brittle especially when exposed to long periods of sunlight. The recall number is #90-C-22. Contact a dealership near you about replacement of the button assemblies. This should be done free of charge

I have an 89 rs, but I'm not the original owner of the car. Will they still replace mine for free? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm not familiar with the recall process.

You could take it apart, and sand/paint the button....

Well, I have a 91, so that's a no-go on the recall. It just looks like soap scum on it, that's all. Any tricks in order to get it back to normal???

I just might use some Formula 113 on it and see what happens.
