Appearance Udates: 1984 SE NEW DOORS!!
Hey folks. Got 18 pictures to show you so enjoy! The project moves forward!
I was able to get rid of the rust bucket doors for two "new" fresh doors from an 88 Firebird and an 89 Camaro. Both power windowed doors. They sound much better when closing and really make the car look better (well look past the non matching paint)
I also tried my hand at detailing the engine compartment. Got out the ol bucket of soap and tooth brush. I didn't get it all the way done. My back got sore from leaning over the engine.
Enjoy the pictures!

Im terribly sorry for the dial uppers...heck im one myself! It took me almost an hour to do all of those.
Aarrrgggh!!!
I had planned on painting the car black and gold! Ive always wanted a black and gold trans am.
I have had this continuous project up for sale since the day I bought it. Turns out that I have some people interested, so I may never get a chance to paint it.
Its been a fun project to work on. If noone buys it than Im still gonna work on it. Gotta have something to do.
If I still have the car Im going to paint it black and gold. Probably in the future yank the 6 and go for an 8. The interior will stay the same. And nope, Mark the seats are stock. Not 4th gens. They are the leather Leir Seigler reclining bucket seats that were an option. Pretty cool and comfy.
I paid 39 bucks a piece for the doors. Would have been less if they didn't have power mirrors on them!
