Personally I like the Birds much more, but I would never say never about the Bird being reborn. Maybe they just want too make the Firebird a lil more different from the Camaro or something. Well either way the Birds had a pretty good run, RIP if its true, but i hope its not the last.

I am driving through the NV desert on my way back to Vegas and going through a small town (guessing here but about population of 1,600 or so) I see a 2002 35 Anniverary SS Camaro Brand new still on the Chevy lot, convertible, 6 speed, 345hp with ALL the trimmings. Talk about hot flashes...

 

It would be really sad if only the Camaro came back I hope GM brings back both well I quess we couldn't complain if we got at least one of the F-Body's back.

for 70 grand i woulda sprung for an extra 10 grand and got a viper , wtf was he thinking! not like the LAST camaro came with a damn v-12.

And why would you waste your money on a Viper? I'm not saying they aren't nice cars, I mean they are made to do one thing, haul ***, and they do. But personally I would spend 30 grand less on a Z06 and hop it up, and still have all the common luxeries and be faster. Anyway you look at it you could have a faster car for less. I mean 23 grand for a new '02 Z28 you could hop that up to be fast than a stock Z06 for less the price. Heck you could buy a cheap thirdgen rolling chassis and hop it up to run 11s or 12s real cheap. The fact remains that it is THE LAST camaro. If I could afford and had that kind of money laying around I'd pay that price too.

 

eh, he got the last one sold, no one ever said it was the last of production , truw a viper cant handle corners worth a damn but hey, the 96 vipers looked damn good and you can get one of those for about 40 grand or less.....its all personal preferance really i guess
