OOPS Dont You Suck...

who ever painted over my RPO codes that is
....
OK so I thot this would be the best place to post since it has to do with "Paint" anyway i only got one RPO code, and gusse what its painted over, so id like to know how to get the paint off with out the RPO codes comeing off with the paint i kno theres away to do it ... but how

try your center console for the RPO codes....unlesss you really want them to show up on the door for some reason

hahaha, the one on the doors the only one i got on the cam, they have all been taking off by the previous owner , iv looked in the vents console rear etc..

what kind of paint was it? acrylic, enamel? i know if its enamel some paint thinner will get it of, but tape up everywhere you want the paint to stay. do remober if it was a sticker or a metal plate? if its metal, you could maybe shave the paint...

Im not sure about the paint but i think maybe Enamel but im not sure at all,

i think its a sticker on a metal plate,

That's not your RPO codes anyway. I think that tag is the one that has vehicle weights and all of that on it.

Yea, your RPO codes could only be on a little sticker in your center console. Don't feel bad, mine disappeared long befor I ever got my car too. Inside the doors is the Vin, car weight, and I think maybe the paint color code.

Its so true too! My Dad worked on a load of shops when I was younger. I worked in a few of them to pick up some cash and Damn! Talk about behind the scenes. Beer just comes in the same package as fixing cars.
