yep, mine looked similar to that too. Did you spray some chrome allusion paint in the engine bay?

Why not go a little further? Who needs an intake, distributor, carb, valve covers, heads, cam, timing chain, accessories, and a harmonic balancer?

lets hope so. DD 2000 is saying 406 fwhp, with a torque curve that hits 400, and doesn't fall back under 400 until 5500 rpms. i know it's not completely accurate, but it at least gives me an idea. I'm still trying to figure how i'm gonna get traction with this thing.....

Anybody wanna take bets on how long the t-5 will hold up once this thing is running? I was gonna get a spohn torque arm to take a little stress off it, but when it does go i'm getting a tremec t-56, and the two arms are different. i don't really wanna buy 2 of them....

Eric

redbird, you have to send the fuel line directly to your intake port duh

mark, my bet is on 1 month or so. Thats what i'm hoping anyway cause thats how long it's gonna take to save enough for the new one...

1 month, I would take it very easy on the car/tranny then, cause that is a lot of TQ you're going to be pushing there.

oh i know i'll be taking it easy on it. Good news is i just found a place i can get a working T-5 at for $100 ( it was in a friends old car that got totalled, so i know it works). So at least i've got a back up until the t-56 goes in...
