what was the 1st year that TA's came w/ that wrap around spoiler?

 

I think the first year the GTA was optioned as a thirdgen. Try looking that up.

Late 85 it started.Those and the 86's didnt have the third brake light attached to them.In 87-90 the had the 3rd light attached.

 

The first version: 85-86
2nd version: 87-90
3rd version: 91-92

 

But was I right? I was only kinda sure. Id like to be certain.

 

First year for the GTA was '87 so it was before.

Why does everyone screem GTA when they hear about the wraparound? It originated on the standard T/A in 85, the only difference in the 87-90 version was that there was a third brake light.

the 91-92 is a whole different design, but still a wrap around.

the T/A and GTA had the same spoilers Just had to point out that the spoiler was on both, not just the GTA, actually its used on the Formula as well (which also re-begun in 87)

... and the 85-86's were all black. The 87 and ups were painted.
