the that hit me was in a crown vic. No Truck They're kinda bigger but you can still see how damn HARD the guy hit me. It was just a really bad situation that morning... speeders, graduation, parked cars... it just sucks, and i'm sorry that my baby took the full force of it. The Red IROC is offically totaled... The frame is bent 8 inches to the right! to fix it, if it can be done, will double or triple the car's value of it's normal condition... so i picked up my buddy's car (after he beat the **** outta it...it's got a hard knock in the engine) for 1200 bucks, 91 Z28, not sure of the milage but a SWEET F***in car. It promises to be great things................but then again..........so did the IROC

UPDATE!

Court was at 1, it's 2.54 now... Anyway, there were only 2 people issued tickets other than me out of a STREET full of parked cars. 1 person showed up, the other did not. So i got a continuance and the prosecutor sent out a warrant on the other lady that didn't show I should get a notice in the mail about when my next court date is... so i will be updating with another date and then the court rulings.....

Ninja, get a lawyer. Most offer a free consulation- and you might get a free pen. A lawyer doesn't want to lose a case, that's why they give a free meeting... and it might be worth it enough to flip the case around, and get some coin from the idiot that wasn't looking where he was going and hit you.

And the least you can get is a free pen. I got a free pen AND a folder!

i'm using my sister's Riced Civic in the meatime... i'm glad there's not 3 stage wing on it though... i guess it's not that bad. She works in NY and commutes everyday, so i take the car in the morning and pick her up at the train station.. as for a permanent ride, i have a 91Z28, pictured above. Harmonic engine, big knock, i have to see what's up with it before it goes back on the road.

Man I hate it when we lose a thirdgen. Just means less of them for us to enjoy. Not to mention it makes less and less parts available for us. Good thing you are alright and found another car so quickly. Good luck with it.

Hey man I feel your pain. Some *** nailed me in my 4th gen about a year and a half ago. I look in my rear view and notice that there's a guy in a late eighties blazer turning onto the street about 2 1/2 block deep. So at that moment my friend passes me goin the other direction, he has a prop for my Senior project in Econ. So I know my limits in my car, so I come to a wide enuff street in the subdivision. I cut it hard and bust a U-turn.well little do i know that the *** behind me is speeding up to catch the intersection light about 60 feet away. I'm about 75% throught the turn and he labels me in the driver side rear quarter. Hit me 90 degrees sideways, almost tips me. A Pig comes over, and slaps me with a $70 ticket for illegal u-turn; the catch was that if i had just said that i stopped completely and turned it woulda not be held against me. So on the accident report it claims that he was doing 25mph but his skids were 20-sumpthin feet long. DO THE MATH that cop was full of crap, i know how long it was cause my dad held the end of the tape! The bastard caused 3,400 dollars in damage. basically 1/4 of my car. The only laff was the dude didn't have insurance and his truck was impounded. So that was the only laff i got that day. I saw it a 2 weeks ago up for sale. I wanted to be a smart *** and ask how much he was selling it for . So I know how you feel man.

unfortunately the same fate happened to my 87' Iroc i cant have any luck back in may a guy ran a red light and nailed me. granted he was driving a volkswagen i drove through him. get this they didn't cite anyone. i had 5 witnesses, his defense you ask? diplomatic immunity! ****ing russian! i had to fix the car myself.
well a month ago a bitch in a pontiac came over on me, my nose was passed the front of her door. i got on the brakes while blowing the horn. sliding about 40ft uphill and hitting a storm drain. what i got: bent control arm, bent spindle, two busted *** struts. what she got: nothing she flipped me off and floored it. i got her license plate number but the police say theres nothing i can do since there was no contact

*** damn... sometimes i think most of us 3rd gen drivers were born under a full moon or something, you know? just $hitty *** luck. Just today i actually got $hit from a teacher because i wasn't doing 10 km/h in an *empty and un-inhabitted* parking lot.. any of you guys who drive a 5 speed car know what im gonna say... how the he|| am i supposed to do 10 km/h (about 5mph) through a 200ft long parking lot without A) stalling constantly or B) burning out my clutch?!

Some people are so stupid, and its always the kid in the car cooler than theirs that pays for it.

Good luck man and make 'em pay out the a$$ for what they did to your car.

BTW: The red IROCs wheels would look sexy on that Z28

If all you say is accurate, then it looks like the guy that hit you was a big shot and knew the cop, or the cop was just throwing his/her weight around and wanted to be a dick maybe because of his hatred for camaros I don't know

IF its all accurate, get a good lawyer and walk all over him in court ... IF its accurate

The reason i said this is because I have yet to hear a story on this board where someone caused the accident. Theres alot of young people on here and most young people when they first get thier licence crack up thier first car the first year they have it (if not the first week)... I know I did and everone else i know... it definatly made me a more cautious and carefull driver... a better driver in general

but IF its correct, goto court...cya tha f*ck lata

my .02
