Lucky mishap.

9:00pm im cruisin the town and i pull a corner on a 2 land street in 2nd gear and hammer it I get completly sideways and end up running smack into the curb on the left side, i scare the hell out of 2 people, hit reverse asap and leave. I went to a publix lot to check out the damage, and luckily i found nothing visable. Driving down the road i checked my turning/suspension and it all seemed fine. ATM im pretty shook up, im a killer driver but i just wasnt thinking, good thing i learned now tho. Tomorrow im gonna get it on my lift and check the underneath, all i found though was a piece of grass in the front nose underneath from when i backed out. But word of advice, drive safe. I thought my 3rd gen was no more, and i was really scared until i looked at it, and who kknows, maybe something is wrong. But hopefully not, ill let you guys know when i foudn out. Drive safe.

Just because it doesn't look broken, doesn't mean that it isn't. Drive safely so that your ride doesn't end up in the junkyard. At home, I see a new thirdgen in the junkyard everyday. At this rate my Bird may be the only thirdgen in town.

i was driving down the beach once in my IROC and i took a right at this light. I guess i tapped the gas a little too hard, you guys know how these TPI pull like hell in the low end. Anyway, it JUST started to downpour and i caught some rain and oil i guess and the turn turned into me facing the opposite way and jammed up against a curb. So from where i was at the traffic light, i was now spun 270 degrees... i unfortuantely wasn't as lucky as you, as i suffered a busted IROC-rim, bent-to-sh*t panhard bar, bent axle and some brake damage... it took me about an hour to fix it all, but it sucked...

well ive driven in cars with bent axles and i know how it feels and im definantly not noticing anything shaking. but it seems like every imperfection i look at gets me wondering, im overexagerating. But like i said tomorrow me and my dad are trouble shooting my engine codes and are gonna fix all that shiz so while were in the proicess im gonna let him know the low down and check some things out.

I've smacked a curb once with my camaro with less than desirable results. The effects were immediately evident.....

I'm always really careful in the rain ever since I pulled out of a parking lot, too much gas and ended up facing the wrong way, good thing no traffic and I didn't hit anything... It isn't just that you have to not slam the gas, you really need to ***** foot it...

Man i had a little encounter with a curb yesterday as well. I was makeing a right hand turn (got its own lane and everything) and lost the curb on the passengers side. When i went on green i suddenly found one side of my car about 6inchs up and then back down. Went to a lot and found no problems. Scared the crap out of me though cause i though i might have farked up my car a week before i leave for school. Glad to hear your car is in one piece.

Rain is a bitch to drive in, especially when it first rains, the roads are the slickest. I've spun my car in the rain many times on accident, but one time in the snow i was goin 5mph and i ended up sliding down a street sideway, and litterally stopped an inch from a caravan. i was scared ****less.

Becareful guys rain and snow are coming

Dave

Minus the snow for me.....

It showers for about 10 minutes everyday so the roads are always slick in the early afternoon........Whenever you choose to do reckless driving make sure there are no hazards and people around........especially cops

well said, flynlow.
i had 2 people in the car and about $50 worth of alcohol but was all stashed away in the back, nothing was used or opened... if you couldn't tell we were headed down to a party. Luckily one of the kids in the car's dad lives right down the street from where it happened. so he let us use his cherokee for the night. needless to say, we all needed to change our pants. when mine happened, i got a 15 inch rim from a local scrapyard in the area of where my accident happened. then i drove 30 miles home my IROC was one tough *****-F
