I hate Deer...

And guardrails hate my car. ****ing A, I was going around a tight turn and in my lane was a deer. So I hit the brakes, but I'm skidding, right into a frickin guard rail. My car still drives, but the front left is definitely ****ed to hell. So here's the deal, my front left fender is bent, the front fascia is bent in. How much am I looking for a new front left fender and front fascia assuming insurance doesn't cover this? I'm really pissed.

That really sucks, good luck.

I think, unless you have full coverage it's on you to cover it.

Yeah I guess it was better I didn't hit the deer. I dunno. I was going probably around 10-15 almost head on into it. We pulled the fender out so there isn't any scraping when I turn, but it is unsightly.

Speak of the devil. Yesterday, I was coming home from Giant City Park on a country road when a deer ran in front of my car. Good thing I was not going fast, otherwise the deer and my front end would have been toast.

My dad hit a deer in his 89 rs camaro doin about 60 mph.l It busted the windshield, sideglass, caved in the hood and passenger side fender. Had teeth and hoof marks on the panel behind passenger sideglass. It was a mess, I will have to see if he has pictures of it.

He was fine, but his brother got glass shattered in his eyes. But he is fine now. Just a little painful for a while.

insurance = evil pinguins,

all they insure is you wont get any money back,

insurance re-minds me of those things you see at a store ware you put the money in its hand and then it eats it and sticks his tong out and licks his mouth clean

I took out a deer the first day i bought my car.........

Avid supporter of deer season since that day......

Also remember that insurance companies don't like to loose money.........so if they are forced to fork out a large amount of money for you to fix it..........you WILL pay for it in the form of higher premiums........weigh the odds....

Nice analogy NEEDforSPEED.......

Well this corner is really really tight, there isn't much of a way I could've possibly seen the deer before I started to take the turn. It's almost a complete U and there's a big ledge on the right side. I would've been going faster hitting the deer than the speed I was going when I hit the guardrail, because I did manage to slow down some before I hit it. But I'm surprised at the amount of damage the guard rail did for the speed I was going (10-15mph).

At least there was a gaurd rail there, or it sounds like you would have had a whole lot more damage.

I've never had them run infront of the camaro, probably cause I'm bumping to the bass, you can hear bass long before you ever get there
