they are stock 16" IROC wheels that have been polished. And yes this has been documented and is indeed real...

They had a 350 TPI with Twin Turbo and a T-5 some had T-tops and you could only get them from the factory or if you knew someone who worked for GM who rolled it out the back door

i love this car..... i'm making my 91Z look like this.. i'm buying a set of the old ground effects and a repo hood or something. The IROC-Z rim is the greatest rim ever made. GH hit it right on the *** damn bullseye with the (85-87)IROC-Z rim.

so that Iroc wheel is from the 85-87 era? cause i have seen other iroc wheels that look a bit different... maybe those were 89's or something...

my car will look something like that when im finished... except mine is metalic silver.. on sportlines... with tinted windows.

KillJoy - The 85-87 wheels have 1 stripe, and the 88-90 wheels have two. Here's the 88-90 style.

Thanks

I have seen the black California IROC on the internet before. I think that it is awsome. I was thinking of getting a 1987 IROC with the 5.7 TPI and making it into a rad California IROC clone. Paint it black no spoiler, smooth hood.
They are awsome sleepers I think.

Does anyone have any different pics of a Cali IROC.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm doing to the IROC. I just have to do some body work first, and a fresh coat of black. The polished 85-87 IROC wheels look so sweet. It takes a while to do, but its worth it.

It makes me consider removing my spoiler. I think it would look sweet with 91/92 GFX..
