Not in an f-body, but a 71 Cheveele SS 454 at about 3 in the morning 127 in a 40. I was 17, it was homecoming night. I passed the cop coming towrds me. I turned my lights off and hit every back road that I could. About 10 minutes latter he passed by me almost in front of my house as I was going home. Another time I received 6 tickets at once in my 69 400 Firebird. My only F body ticket was 87 in a 65 driving a WS6 85 Trans Am convert. Yes it was an 85 and sweet.

you people are going to hate me.
first off I'll tell you that i am a MP in the Army.
That has helped me a few times. I don't get pulled over often.
one time i got pulled over buy a det. that i passed on the interstate when i was going about 95mph, as soon as he got out of the car i knew i was good,
got a 81 in a 55 took it to court and talked to the judge and he dissmissed it.

same with a 66 in a 55, told the judge ( could of paid it, but i fought it) always fight the ticket!!!!!) i was going to work.
and one time i got pulled at the gate to my base doing 62 in a 25 buy one of the local cops, gate MPs told him who i was, he gave me a talk to but thats it, didn't even look at the license.
I've been pulled over for a 74 in a 70 when i was pulling a trailer.
and got a 80 in a 70 one time
I pay about $100 a month for the car and the bike, full coverage on both, $0 deductible.
no points, been lucky so far

I am still fair game to cops, most of the time, it's a 50/50 chance that they will care if you are a MP, other times they hammer you BECAUSE you are a MP.

14 tickets in the past 14 months

- 6 Speeding - all reduced to parking ticket via PPL
- 2 exhibition of power - reduced to parking tickets via PPL
- 1 Running a red light (i still insist that it was green)
- 3 wreckless driving (bad habbit of sliding corners with cops right their, all diff corners) - reduced to parking ticket via PPL
- 1 for driving at night without headlights (leaving the streetraces) - reduced to parking ticket via PPL
- 1 Street Racing ticket - reduced to parking ticket and a $200 fine via Craig P Kenny (normally a $1500 ticket)

PPL = Pre Paid Legal, that stuff does miracles.

EDIT: Insurance is $100 a month on a 1994 Thunderbird, i have a wreck from 2 years ago still

Only 1 point on my record

1991-Z28, dude I didnt think the cops are that bad around here, Ive been speeding for 3 years and only gotten pulled over once and that was on I-95, cop never showed up to court so it got waved. My 2 accidents are what kills me. Im still paying $220 a month for liability. my insurance doubled after my second accident, ouch did that hurt. still the cheapest rate out there.

This is a cool little trick.....An attorney should schedule a hearing on the cop's day off.......that way he probally won't show up and the ticket is dismissed........

That's how i got out of my Reckless driving and Evading an Officer ticket........The judge did give me 14 hours of community service..... She said that i deserved something for doing 70 in a 25????......

PPL or pre paid legal is $16 per month and you can purchase it on their website IF their is a rep in your area. PrePaid Legal.com

Basiclly how it works, is once you get a ticket you stop in and see them. They take a MASSIVE stack of tickets in front of the judge before the courts open. And he stamps them all as parking tickets. You do get a fine, but its usually less than $50 and it doesnt show on your record.

PPL also offers a product called the "Legal Shield Rider" for an extra $1 a month. Its worth it for you street racers. Basiclly if you get arrested they give you a toll free # to call and they will bail you out in 24 hours.

They also have a pyramid program where you get $$$ for signing other people up.

Ive yet to get a ticket, but i wish I was back in time like 30 years I think it is that there was no speed limit in navada as long as your car was able to do it. My grandmothers uncle had a few good storys about it lol, he saw a ferarrie doing over 150 on the road passing cops and they could not do anything because his car was able to do it. Damn times have changed , anyone want to go to germany? I think you guys need to read the article on here bout how to not get tickets, its pretty good. ( its all about detectors and jammers).
