you should get it. i've always been a big fan of the ls1. imo i would remove that spoiler the thing above the hatch and paint the rear view mirrors the same color as the car and add some z06 wheels then that thing would be a 10 on the super trick scale

Car: 1989 IROC-Z
Engine: 383 stroker
Transmission: 700R4 3500 stall, TransGo shift kit
Axle/Gears: Moser 9", 4.11:1
Keep the thirdgen and go with the ZZ4 plan

But if you get the Z, I'd remove that sunshade thing and that huge spoiler.

EDIT: I'd also tint the hatch window. It looks dumb with just the sides tinted.

I would like to but I need a car. It would also be a lot of work for me now since I am still in school. Removing the sunshade would be the first thing I would do. I am going to have to look at the spoiler in person to get a better idea of its massivness. The tint doesn't concern me b/c I have to remove it to pass inspection.

Correct. 50k for 11,500. With a few mods like a fiberglass fabricators hood, and LG motorsport wing, chrome 10 spokes, 3500 TCI stall, Trans go shift improver, B&M trans cooler, tranny temp gauge, Flowmaster exhaust, with SLP dual daul tips, and the trans was rebuilt 5k ago.

Anything you would suggest I look for when buying the camaro?

Thanks for all of the comments,
-KEvin

Paint the spoiler and get rid of the silly thing on the rear hatch window and it'll get from me.

What do I think? Well what you should do with those "Mods" if you get the car is..... Give them to Mark and let him take them to one of those thirdgen Meets so he can get pix of 25 or more people stomping on them in front of the thirdgens!!!!! LOL now that would be cool!

Maybe if that... whatever it is wasn't attached on top of the stock spoiler, or at least matched the body color, it'd look better.

I completly agree. I don't like how the back looks with that spoiler attached to the stock one. Most likely it is coming off.
btw, can anyone read what is under the left rear light?

Yeah, the stock 3 piece from Zs and IROCs. They're making a larger version of it, so it can slow you down some more.

Simple... I intend to paint mine. Plus... the 5" thirdgen spoiler REPLACES the stock one, it doesn't just bolt on top of it. But if that spoiler was painted car-color I think I would like it. The black just makes it look silly.
