Its a 96 RS. It has the Y87 performance setup with the ground effects. This is a car ive been tryin to get for awhile now. We go to houston to pick it up next friday. Im gonna enclose a pic and the ebay site. Lemme know what yall think of it. It rides nice...had to go drive it before a decision was made...pretty peppy for a sixer. Definatly gets looks!

well, as for modding it, i did do a search on Google.com to find out a little info on it and i ran across an article from GMHP magazine where a school teacher had one and she had a supercharger and exhaust installed and it propelled her into 13.9 think with no other mods. But i dunno.....maybe an lt1/six speed swap later on:lala: Or may just stick with the six....no big plans as of yet. Oh yeah...i found the link to that article

I've always liked the RS.

I think it looks better than the Z.
Congrats on the buy.

I hope everything is ok with it....

Congrates on the new car! I have a 2002 Firebird with the 3800 V-6. You might want to check out fbodyv6.com and Firebird/Camaro V-6.com.

I also love the looks of the RS, when I had my 96 Z28 I wanted the rs package BAD! Too bad it isnt a V8 but like 1982chevycamaroz28 said, they can move with a little modivation.

Nice buy,

Brian
