How do insurance companies usually deal with this? I have full coverage on the car, comprehensive and collision. The front bumber is cracked at the top, the headlight mounting bracket is destroyed, the fender is bowed out and dented in, and the hood is bowed in the middle and folded over the headlights. Do they try and fix this stuff or just order new parts for it? It doesnt seem like too much damage, but it touched a lot of parts, i think my passenger side door got messed up too because there is no gap at the end of it anymore. I was doing about 65mph when i hit it. Is it gonna get totalled for this? It only has 90xxx miles and the blue book is almost $4k for it.

Damn that sux about your car and all but what I want to know is what did the Deer look like? Did you get pix of that. Did it have like 4 broken legs and was sitting there trying to get up and run? Did you kick it when it was down and it tried to bite you? When you realize that you were going to hit it what did you do? Strategically aim your car to clip its rear legs? Did you take it home and eat it? Dont tell me it got up and ran after being hit by a Camaro going 65! that would suck.

At least make up some kinda story that you got your shotgun and knife out and ran after the deer. After backing him in a corner You try and shoot as his head with your shot gun but all you get is a click. So you throw down the gun and shine your flash light at him. You notice that the deer has 4 broken legs and is running on the bloody stubs. All of a sudden The beaten deer starts laughing at you! WTW so you whip out your knife and run over there then start hacking! Then you stand up and look at there deer. Dazed you shake your head and realize your back in your car driving down a Dark road only to find your headlights zooming in quickly on a deer standing in the road. What do you do?

>come on I want the sick detailz!

Has anyone ever hit a bird yet? They fly all around my car like crazy on the way home. Its like they see a Firebird so they want to follow it cause its a Bird. Shat one time I was driving to work and there was this huge arch of Bird flying back and forth from on side of the service Road to the other. Just flying to grass patch to grass patch. That was about the weirdest shat I have seen. So I drove under the bridge of about 500 Black birds and get a good Idea. I held down the horn and watch all of them lift off in the slightly heavy traffic. I didnt see to much behind me but I'm sure that caused a few of them to fly into the fenders of a few cars.LOL dumb birds................ SCKAA!!! SCKAA!!!

Same problem

We used to have the same problem with deer and other large animals walking in the middle of the road. The local law enforcement (*** bless em) got involved however and began posting these signs everywhere.

Seemed to curb the problem decently..
