Guess What I Just Saw!!!

Today I was driving on a back road in Clevland Texas, and all of the sudden, a nice looking red camaro jacked up on huge wheels PULLING A TRAILER drives by going the other way!! I never thought I would actually see one of those comical looking things in real life, but BAM there it was in the middle of nowhere texas... My family found it interesting, but they weren't crapping in their pants like I was.

Sorry for the useless post, but I had to tell someone who might care about my interesting incounter today

BTW, the paint job on the car looked real good

If I jacked up (hehe) my camaro, I'd have to go all out with the cowboy hat, airbrushed confederate flag, and a gun rack.

otherwise, it's just not worth it

Hey 87 B4Z, I've seen that same one too! It's a shame, but I'd like to see, just for kicks, if it actually runs good.

I used to live in Dayton Texas (right next to Cleveland) and I've seen that car before. It looks like maybe a 82-84 camaro. It doesn't have any ground effects.

But yeah...scary stuff.

The part I found most unusual is the fact that it had a trailer hitch. I have seen 2 Camaros (No firebirds) that had a hitch on the back, and of all cars, they were IROCS. If you take the hatch of our cars, you essentially have a truck platform, or an El Camino.

yah, because Firebird owners are smarter than that! We know the difference between a muscle CAR and a TRUCK.:sillylol:

I think the trailer hitch was an actual GM option for a limit time. The only reason why the Firebirds would not have the option is because the license plate is at the bottom where a trailer would definately block the plate, which we all know is illegal--like we need another reason to be pulled over.

I would rent or borrow a truck or van before I would ever put a hitch on my Firebird.
