How do I clean clear coat overspray?

My skirts and tail have a misting of clearcoat overspray on them. The tail is the worst. They all feel like very fine sandpaper. Anyone know how to wash that crap off?

3M Rubbing compound, or Mothers' Aluminum polish...there's fine paint cleaning pastes a variety of company's sell, and if all else fails (ALL else), you could try wetsanding with 2000 grit sand paper.

most of the time you can cut it with a good rubbing compound

My dad got some overspray on my car. The claybar they carry at autozone took it 100% off.

My cousin had paint work on his celica, and they got overspray on his car. Once again the claybar took it all off

What type of compound? I know theres the real creamy type, and the type that is very gritty. I have some McQuiers scrath X compound but its not doing a thing. Its very waxy abd creamy. No grit. Im thinking ill need to go corser. By the way the cars paint is about 3 weeks old. What do you suggest?

I'd try a claybar first.

Some compound may dull your paint. Do you want dull paint with swirl marks? I never tried the claybar but I would in your case.

Definitely try clay first. Clay is very easy to use and you don't have to worry about dulling the paint like with a rubbing compound that is too coarse.
