My first Trans Am

I just sold my 77 camaro and bought this 82 Trans am the next day. I got it for $1100 (aprox $1700 cdn). Its got t-tops (that dont leak hehe), aluminum 4 speed t-10 with a Hurst shifter and 3.23 posi. Hope the picture works.

Well Im building a vortec 355 and I finally found the car I want to put it in. Headers and ravin exhaust to top it off. I love the feel of the Hurst with the four speed. My only concern is not having overdrive. At 60 I'm spinning 2800 Rpm. I dont want a t-5 and cant afford a t56 conversion. I dont think a T-5 will handle 406ft/p of torque for to long.

Be sure that it really is a T-10 and not a POS saginaw tranny that it should have had from the factory. Otherwise it looks nice. Got to love that formula hood.
