I was just wondering if the "Tuned Port Injection" on the engine was painted red at the factory or if it was left aluminum. I ask because when I bought my IROC it was red but looked faded. Either way I repainted it red cuz it looks better I think

 

It was gray--kind of a darkish color--if I'm not mistaken--so yeah--it was painted or coated.

they someone must of painited it, they came usual the same color as the plenum/throttle body.. greyish
