well mine is gonna be back down for a few more weeks now, just smeared a dear. wait till you see these pics, needs a front bumper cover, headlight assembly, and hood repaired or new hood.

What the hell did it do roll up onto the light? that lights messed up preety bad .. that sucks tho man thats bad luck right there hope ya get back on thje road again soon.

 

I think my bumper took out his leg/hip and then he rolled over onto the light, also pushing the light into that corner of the hood, the 1/4 panel is perfect.

wow, that really sucks... sorry to hear that.... so.. are you going to repair the hood? or get a new one.... Prolly easier to repair the old one... I have done come glass work, its really not that bad, if you decide to buy a new one....... I would buy to damaged one and fix it for myself... or if you need any help with fixing the old one feel free to ask

 

Hopefully it will be fixed A.S.A.P most likely I'll just my hood repaired, my body shop will prolly fix the hood, put a new light assembly on and new nose.

Hey, look at it this way, I had a lot of real small stone chips in the front end, now the'yll be repainted. Maybe insurance will pay for a new nose come, but maybe I can get a used one at the yard.

Hey 86fyrbrd....when you were deciding which hood to go with, did you ever consider the RamAir I? Just curious. If so and you've got some pictures mocked up somewhere, post them.

My car will be getting the full treatment - new nose, spoiler, and hood...along with paintjob come Summer. I'm just deciding what I want.

I guess it wouldn't be TOO bad if my car came out looking like a Pontiac Flame Red version of your car.

That sucks man, I know all about that. I hit one last weekend. I hope you have insurance. I also hope that they don't try and total it out. My insurance company is trying to do it to me. Shop estimate was $3100, they say that is more than the car is worth('92 RS, 305, 90xxx). The car is drivable, needs new bumper cover, fender, a hood, and some paint. Easily fixable, and even drivable currently. Nice thing is it goes under comp, so only $100 deducable and they cant raise my rates.

 

DAMN...I cant believe your car is damaged. You have one nice *** ride and its hard for me to see your car like that. I always see your car clean lookn on ur pics. It must be depressing seeing your car like that everyday. Hope you have insurance cause I dont.

Hey what happen to the deer? Did it get up and run? Did you shoot in in the head when it tried? Or did you just shoot it in the head while it was down? Next time someone hits a deer GET PIX OF THE DEER!! lol, hey dont get me started on the deer stories again. lol. Glad to hear the engine is running in the car now but why are you not all pissed off about the deer smashing? I would be angry..real angry. Just got the motor in and a dumbazz deer walks in the road to get smashed. Glad they are no deers in dallas.

hey, look at these beauties that my shop is doing rite now.

 

This one is SWEEEEEEET, but I couldnt take the sheets off. parachutes, wheelie bars and all

the Challenger R/T is waiting for its 468 Indy Hemi Motor, before the shop got it, it was soooo bad, I've seen better looking, and more complete cars in the middle of fields.

 

Got it back around 5:00 smacked the dear around 9:30

I feel your pain......I was driving my car home from the dealership and had only drove 13 miles before i hit a deer, that sucked...,..

 

Like a dream, I love it. Maybe I'll swing by there later today or tomarrow and get pics of it, its back at the body shop all ready.

 

Well it is, but isnt, its a fiberglass body on a drag car, for some reason I'm thinking '67 but Im not up on my vette's so Im not sure.

But it isnt an original vette, just a fiberglass body.

 

damn, my car is back at the tranny place too.. i miss her.......

a Deer!!! man you seem to be taking it well, I got my first stone chip the other day & had a big sook!. Not very many deer over here but them Roo's sure can make a mess.

oops sorry I did read it but forgot to reply. I really dont like the ram air I style. its to small, and to .....blunt. the Ram Air II is big sleek and aggresive.

Go for it, just dont paint it the same color! Red would look good, but BadGTA might not like the idea.
