New paint pics.
Whole car isnt completed, the rest is being worked on, but heres some new shots of my paint, yet to be wetsanded / buffed.
Nice, i likey.
but i've wondered when you paint the doors and the hatch off the car how do you get the color the same? i'd think that if you weren't spraying it all together you'd get different size coats on all the pieces.

I didnt paint it, got someone who knows what they are doing on the job, not going to argue.
just out of curiosity... how much did you pay for that?
did you do any of the prep work yourself?
also did you paint the inner fenders and firewall?
i would think that you'd have to take everything out of your engine bay top do that or else it wouldn't match.

The labor cost me $450, he did the prep, and paint, I supply the materials, its a friend, the engine bay is black, and is going to stay that way, although soon i will be redoing it so that it looks better, the fenderwells will stay black, the color is the same used on the 96' Grand Sport corvettes, It will be put on these Konig 17" rims soon, and they will be powdercoated black.

Looks nice, I like the color a lot. I also like the rims, but I think you should leave them rather than powdercoat them. But either way they will look good

Pic doesnt show it very well but my complaint is that the spokes are more of a darker gunmetal and the rim lip is machined like, i'd rather have em solid black.

I like the paint. I've wanted to paint my car for a long time but never got to it. Instead I painted my bike BMW blue. Came out great for under 200 bucks. I need to build a spray booth for the car and my truck.
