Is a flash video thing that you can use to look at different wheels and wings, hoods, color combinations, etc.

Like we could all submit side shots of our cars, close ups of wheels, wings, hoods, from primary angles. Then someone could lump it all together in a file.

Then we could use it to load up a side shot of say, for example, a black 92 firebird, and see what 17" TTII's and a fourthgen wing would look like on it.

Eh, I'm dreaming.

Wasn't ChevyKen creating some sort of ultimate third gen gallery with all types of thirdgens with all types of wheels, wings, hoods, etc? I wonder what ever happened with that...

I thought about that too. That is a good idea. Or just use a body at different angles. Then have a choice of rims, hood, spoiler, and gfx. Then you can paint it what color you want.

Yup, Im making a Thirdgen Appearance guide and have quite a bit of it done, but plenty of material left for it. It has been hibernating for a while now as my computer with all the images and tools have been sitting in customs in New York for then to sit on a boat over the atlantic for a total of several months. I just got my computer up and running again this week, so this fall sometime I'll get back to it. I have a LOT of catching up to do with the rest of my website in addition to getting situated in our new home/new job.

So, all in all Im not sure exactly when it will be done - but I hope before too long!

However, today all that counts is to get my car (yeah it finally came too!) ready for my first ever car show this weekend.

Ciao,

Ken

I believe there's something like that at the American Racing website. You can choose from a number of makes and models, and then choose the different rim styles that you would like to see on the car. It's pretty basic but it's cool checking out the different profiles and wheel styles on the different body styles.

Ah! yes I see what you mean, like the way the dirt accents the "time decay" around the fender arch. Also not forgetting the hard to achieve matt finnish on the wheel.
