Paint Pricing

Does anyone know about how much it costs to get a decent paint job on my 87 white gta. I want to paint it white (original color) and i was curious as to if anyone knew how much a good paint job costs?

my brother just got his painted and it cost him 3k and they did a good job on it even though it took the 7-8 weeks to do it when they said it will be done in 7-8 days
