Well no. See, I know how much its been said Yes it will fit on thirdgen camaro/firebirds, I see its a perfect fit for Firebirds since they have a seperate unit console, Unlike the camaros with a single unit. I just bought a Center console(six speed) from a 94' Z28, Anyone have pics of 4th gen console in their Third gen CAMARO(no firebirds). Would i have to cut my stock console to accomadate the 4th gen? Im trying the seach and using this as an alternative, thanx

 

I did a search and most of it came out as in "Do a Search"

I did find a post that was in particluar with mines, but it had nothing but 4th gen consoles in Firebirds, What about the camaros???????????

you either have to cut your stock console or you can get a firebird radio/ac console

 

You have to cut the stock console and you can use it.....

Could you make a special post on how you did it? I've searched for a few minutes on here and haven't come up with much, usually people just say "dont' do it, too much work"...

So you cut the STOCK center-console just below the radio pod? Where abouts? with a dremel tool?

Hey guys, how the heck do you put a 4th gen console in a 3rd gen camaro? I would love to do the mod but the 3rd gen camaro has has the one piece center console. So could some one tell me how they did it or show me a link? I mean why should firebirds have all the fun right?
