First off, I'd like to thank all of you on here for all the information, I have 1986 z28 that has never run as well as it is now, since I started reading here so thanx again. and now for the good stuff.

Sorry about the shadows, it hides the really bad dirt spots, until I can get it washed again.

I like the grill....

I would suggest maybe getting some VHT nightshade and using it to black out all the lights on the front, or else take the blackouts off.......
Just my .02

But nice car nonetheless...

I tired the VHT stuff and it looked ok, but when I put the grille in, I needed the clear lenses to help so the shiney grille didn't look out of place. I'll get it cleaned one day and take new pics, out in the sun, the grille really does look a whole hell of a lot better in the sun.

I was looking at those last night, I was considering them but I'm really not sure what they're going to look like, I would like to see some pics of what they look like glowing. If anybody has them, let me know what you think.

I like grill, i might get it for the 83 z-28 of mine but the only problem is that in NJ you need a front license plate. So, i guess it wouldnt look right.

It's funny you bring that up, because here in Texas it's also illegal, but the locals don't care, any trips I take, I just stick it in the window.

Since the grill was not a factory option, Mark can't like it. I think it is a nice Z and I do like the billet grill.

GTS blackouts

Does anybody here know how to get those 3 letters off, they're not stickers and I really don't want to scrape them off and chance scratching the covers.

I used a rough paper towel and some Citrusolve to remove the ones on my headlight covers (before the cracked!). It took a lot of elbow grease!
As a fellow 86 Z owner, your car is sweet! And that 355 is a big diference from the stock 305 isn't it?

Actually they are stickers, at least the ones on my tailight covers were. I just used a razor scrapper thingy and it took them right off with a little windex. Wont scratch the covers if ya do it right.

Yes it does, I was really shocked by the power 355 had, the only thing I've ever driven was this 86 with the 305 and I thought at the time that was quick, and I know that white lettered tires were big back in the day, I still think think they look good, and no, I was actually born in 1980

Yes I think the wheels are aluminum, the only thing that's painted, or used to be anyway, is the black between the spokes.
