Devianb's Firebird (his real car)

I finally took some updated pics of my car, thanks in part to my dig. camera. I get the feeling that I am going to get made fun of for my engine bay. I'll only explain if someone mentions it.

I forgot this pic. I mounted my Accel 300+ in the front. It was the only place I could find room for it.

82-84s had the louvers, but mine is an 87. I got tired of the little bumpers so I took them off. I will probably put them back on the rear because I will need a new rear bumper because it is all nicked up right now.

Here is how it started. My rubber vaccuum hoses were falling apart and I wanted Silicon to replace it. I chose orange because at the time, I planned on having a marroon and orange color scheme. The lime green silicon hose, well a friend of mine had a lot of it left over from doing his Supra. I needed the extra silicon hoses to repair more vaccuum lines so he gave me the rest I needed for free.

Now the blue. Blue is by far my favorite color. I wanted to put blue on my car, but with a marroon and gold paint, I had to apply some in a place where it was not readily visible. Also, I tend to lose a lot of bolts and tools in the engine bay so adding blue stuff makes spotting them easier. Blue is very easy on my eyes so I can work longer on engine stuff. It makes tracking leaks easier too. I just hate seeing black in an engine bay. I plan on adding more chrome or polished bits. That explains the basics of the way the engine bay is now.

Hey devianb- Where were those pics taken? Giant City is the best spot to take pics. I went to SIUC for 2 years and had a blast. My buddy still lives there with his silver 4th gen RS. In fact I'm headng down there next weekend for the G love show. I'll look for your ride

Not to shabby.
I like how you added those 4 little slits in the front nose cone. It looks sharp.
But I think you should have added something extra to where you removed the front and rear black plastic bumbers, it looks kinda empty.

Engine bay must be easy to stot vaccum and wire hose .

Yes, the paint is faded at the top from years of parking my car on the street. It will be a while before I can get my car painted.
