they are a 4th gen concept wheel that was produced, but never put on and sold, there was a post about/explaining them on here a few weeks/months ago.

Thats what I thought. I dont know why someone would say that they are just to sell them.

Actually, they are factory. They came on a few 2000? WS6 trans ams. I'm pretty sure those wheels are really rare, you certainly don't see many t/a's with them.

Ok, I stand corrected they were never put on and sold but they were going to be a factory wheel.

Well, umm, I took it as are these stock 3rd gen wheels, since this is a 3rd gen board. doh, i didn't click the link though, guess I should have.

They were put on and sold in 2000! They are very rare though because no one liked them. THey are called the WS6 Swirl rim. Talk to the guys in the WS6 fourm over at ls1.com they know all about them.

I absolutely love those wheels. I wish they would have been more of them. I haven't seen any in person. I saw them in the brochure for the trans am and if I had the money and was getting one I would have most definitly chose those rims.

Yeah, they were used for the very first part of 2000. Theres a guy in a Pewter WS6 runnng around with those...only like the 2nd ones I have seen in person.

I have never seen one in person but over on fbody.com there is someone with them on a green trans am. They kinda look like sunfire wheels too! The chromes look good.

But I have never seen them on a vehical before.

I believe they are like the Pontiac Rageous rims
