last but not least, since the unibody construction was derived from the nova, (chevy II), i figured i'd show show you what else just came out of the booth. it's a nova ss with a 454 and it belongs to a close friend.

Looking good.
I don't like dubs but to each his own. I don't think it looks aweful because my definition of aweful is putting expensive parts on an import or worse yet...an import that was designed for cheap parts! There are a few exceptions.
One picture I can't get out of my head is that Nova with it's 454 and dubs doing a big burnout and getting all loose! That just makes me smile just knowing that people are having fun with their hot-rods.
Still not a fan of the dubs but I'll get past that. At least they look better than the stock wheels.

That is a 75 Nova. I have a 74. Your camaro looks very nice, did you have your rims dipped or are they hand polished? How long till it is done? Keep up the good work. And 20's on the nova lift it too far off the ground, he took a car that cant handle as it is and then does that!! That car was ment to go in a straight line VERY FAST!!! LOL Was it alot of work fitting those wheels in her? Then came factory with 14-15's!

the car will be finished tuesday. i purchased it as a total from the insurance lot. it's located in booneville, ms. it was hit in the driver's quarter panel and had stress damage to the driver's door. i am putting all new emblems, trim, iroc door lettering and stripes on tuesday afternoon. the seats are from a 99 z28 30 annivesary edition.

btw, that nova can burn the treads of off those twenties and it looks so good doing it. the only modifications needed for the twenties to fit were 2 inch aircraft aluminum adapters. (5 on 4.75 by 5 on 4.5)

i forgot to answer the other question, my iroc wheels are chrome plated. had them done in 95. if you plate your wheels, make sure they are triple plated and that you only wash and clean them with mild soap. had mine 7 years with no peels yet!!!! (while knocking on wood)

well, here she is out of the booth. i made the stripes myself because i refuse to pay $300 for a stripe kit. sherwin williams sells 1/2 inch vinyl stripes so i just cut them to fit. total cost, 26 bucks.......

now, all i need is a ls1 and some fourth gen underhood sheetmetal and supension and i'll be on my way to challenging FATAL 88!!!! LOL!!!!

btw, the driv. rocker, rear bumper and decklid spoiler have to be repainted, it will be finished tomorrow......

The car looks great, although I'm cringing at the thought of seeing it with dubs.

Beautiful car! I think it would look best with those rims but lowered a little bit. Save the dubs for when you get yer Escalade.
