new headlights?

Well i went to walmart and looked in the book for what bulbs i needed. SO i pick them up and got em. Get home and there is no way they will fit. The bulbs are a giant rectangular bulb. Where do you find high output bulbs such as the ones in my camaro?

yes,
and clearer, most new cars use halogens.
I will upgrade next year.
think about it when you are riding down the hwy, and you see the cars coming towards you. the ones with the the real bright "white" lights are Halogens.
later

Normal looking headlights that you see 99% of the time on the road are normal halogens.

The bluish or whiter bulbs are still halogens, but have some xenon gas mixed in to alter the color a little.

The whitest brightest ones you see (and you can tell the difference, it's just hard to explain) are xenon arc lights, and are a completely different breed of lighting.

If you want an excellent bulb with great output and the best light dispersal pattern, get GE HO bulbs. There's a list of part numbers in the tech article on this site.

If you want, check out my site in my sig. on switching over to the H4 style bulbs. It is on page 4. I bought pods that would accept the new bulbs.

Headligts are all Halogen lights if I'm not mistaken. The lights you guys are talking about are HID (High Intensity Discharge), and IMO they look WAY better than stock headlights. They really help you to see the road and they also reflect off of signs and road markers better at night.
