This is a 2000 Extreme. Awesome truck, looks even better now that I buffed and waxed it for 2 hours.

Thanks bubba! You should have bought it. They are great trucks, and very fast too.

Thanks Mark. As for other colours...not at this moment. I am building my portfolio. LOL Takeing pics as I go. Black is the hardest to do for the most part cause it will show swirl marks worse then most other colours. I will post them as I go. YOu saw the red Honda I did.

Define buff??? Did you use good old fashion elbow grease or a machine? Either way it looks great!!! I tryed using a machine once and used cleaner was to take all the crap off then used the machine and polished it!!! It was shiny like no other but I got alot of swirls??? Any suggestions?

I use a buffer for all applications 1st buff with 3m rubbing compound. 2nd buff with 3m's finishing compound then 3rd Finish off applying a carnuba paste by hand and then again use the machine to buff to a high gloss. Lastly I use what they call a Finger rag. This thing grabs on to anything that may be left on the paint without harming the finish, this step requires some good old elbow grease to remove those nasty swirl marks. Swirls marks can be a pain, you just have to keep working at it to get rid of them. It is to hard to explain in words. Hope this helps?
I'm trying to sell my s10, but its not an Xtreme. IMO the Xtreme is a waste of money. You can buy the Xtreme kit for $580 and the Xtreme suspension package is $380 from the aftermarket. So in theory you could buy a 98 s10 for around 9-10k and make it look like an Xtreme for under $1000 (keep in mind the Xtremes retail over 20k)

andy,
in the spring come over...i have all the buffing stuff from when i used to do it at my old job. Man, I got to do some very nice cars, when you work at "classic car wash" everyone with a classic car comes on over, and then all i saw was $$$$$$. I made cars come in dull....like this old GTO that i thought was orange when i brought it in.....when it left it was a deep red, the owner couldn't believe it and neither could i. He said that he had a pic of his car when it used to be red, he came back later with some pics and about 20 more cars from his club to do.
of course, those were the days when i had money. Now after getting sick and all over the last year, no more job and no more $$$$
