Question about NEON quality/brands

How much should I be looking at spending? I know somebody posted a kit this week for $50... most of the ones I saw in stores like Canadian Tire go for $150US...

Which brand should I buy? How much should i be looking to spend? Any brands I should avoid?

depends on quality.............remember you get what you pay for.

streetglow is the "best". they make two types of kits.

blue or gold series....

blue is cheaper, but it involves alot more installation work as each tube has a transformer rather than one that controls all like the gold series.

there are other companies like lite glow for example that are similar, but aren't.

if you want the brightest and the best save up and get the good stuff. streetglow gold series.........

typically you can find a kit anywhere from 130-200. i paid on average of 160 a set, but this was of course through a dealer and not mail order. do a search on the net and i'm sure you could come up alot cheaper if your willing to take a chance.

i wouldn't skimp as the gold series sets are the brightest out there with the most durability. check out www.streetglow.com they have a message forum with alot of people who know there stuff and can answer your questions better than the people here.

good luck.

StreetGlow Gold Series......

Althought the soldering on one of tubes broke off so the wire doesn't connect to the tube.........their reason??...........Poor installation.......

Other then that they are good and they have a Lifetime Warranty

dude............i just told you what they go for. if your dumb enough to pay that much then your on your own. i've got three sets on my car paying 900+ would just be insane...

FLYNLOW92rs, i've never had a problem with that....although i've always been extremely careful when handling the tubes. install was very simple and their warranty is superb. they don't even ask questions so long as you have a receipt and they outer casing isn't broke!

if you think 50 is a good deal and it isn't a gold series you might as well string christmas lights underneath....

The wire just came loose and disconnected so they are giving me a hard time......saying i should pay to solder it.....

I'm thinking about just breaking the inside of it so i can get the warranty to pay for a new one...... .......I'll try one more time before resulting to ripping them off, but frankly it was professionally installed??
