HAHA~!! Found pics of the Blazer/Z28 rims!!

Well here they are. Had to go to a Blazer message board but I found em!! lol

Anyways I think those centre caps look really cool, but the guy who showed me the pic said they wouldn't fit Z28 rims
I think they look the same to me. I asked him why they wouldn't fit... waiting for a reply. What do you guys think?
(hope the pic works)

i thought they would fit. The blazer guys just replied and told me that the backspacing on the rims was different, but that has nothing to do with the caps. I guess its time to search the junkyards. I would imagine they would be really expensive new.

P.S. Could someone possibly photoshop the caps on my car??

Now that I think about it, the backspacing did have an effect. The lug nut caps were too long and had to be trimmed to fit. Plastic is easy to cut though

Chrome plating isn't that thick.

I tried it on the same rims off a 89 RS. I even tried the lug nuts and covers from the s-10 and could not get them to fit. I may be the year model of the rims, or a certain kind of lug nut and lug nut caps.

Keep in mind (for those that aren't already aware) that 4 wheel drive S10s have a completely different wheel offset than the 2 wheel drive trucks. The 2 wheel drive truck wheels should easily interchange with thirdgens and vise-versa.

The 4 wheel drive trucks use a front-wheel-drive type offset, similar (almost identical to) the 4th gen cars.

What's wrong with your centers now? Your car is one of the few that I think really look good with those wheels. If you're just going for something different though, thats cool too.

you could only get those rims on the 91-93 S10 2WD's and the 91-94 S10 Blazer 2WD's. even if you go to the dealer those really shouldn't be too hard to come by. and shouldn't be all that expensive. i dont really see any reason why they won't fit. keep us all posted...

good luck!
Josh

I like those center caps a lot, I saw them just the other day on a Jimmy. Had I seen them before I sold my Z wheels they'd still be on my car. They should look great on your car!!

well, the dealer said they wanted $125 each
Definately not worth it.

Brett Gutshall: Thanks!

Now that I think about it, those blazer caps look kinda cheap.
(Even though they aren't, lol)

A friend of mine wants to get Z28 rims on his 86 S15, maybe I'll convince him to get them.

That dealer is on crack!!!!!!!!!! Back about 94 I tried the same thing and bough one new from Gm for 25 bucks. Try putting the part number in at Gm parts direct. I remember well. They were definatly 25 bucks. I also bought a 92 Z grill for 25 bucks in 94. Hell prices couldnt have went up that much. 125 sounds like to me.

Those caps do look good, but I think that after having seen them on Blazers for so long that if you put them on a Camaro, it will look like the Camaro is wearing truck shoes instead of car shoes.

Or maybe it's just all in my head.
