Nice pic, why did you have to sell it?

I couldn't afford two cars, insurance and all. The person I sold the T/A to blew the engine. It was running fine when I had it. I loved the peel outs that the T/A used to make. But I'm happy with my Firebird project. If I had kept it, I would have made it into a KITT replica. It had the comfortable Recaro PMD seats in it too....although they needed to be reapholstered

I used to have an 84 and a 91 firebird (same body style you had) at one time. I sold the 91 and kept my 84. I wish I still had the 91. Very immaculate car. :0)

I hear ya on that one......

I was gonna sell my 1992 RS to buy a 1992 Z28, but the damn insurance was much more.....

So now my option is to in the future replace the engine with a 5.7.....instead.......long term value has been shot, cause the RS will be worth less.....but hey insurance was just too damn high.....

Insurance Premiums....

Trans Am needed some work. Gas mileage also was a factor. My Firebird was actually a lil bit quicker than the T/A. I kept the Firebird cuz it was my first car and I'd hate to lose it.

Shame you had to sell the T/A but I'd have picked the Firebird too. Especially if it was my first car.

I don't plan to ever get rid of my first car:

I've been lucky enough through my 20 years of life to have been blessed with many nice cars. At one time i had my 86sc with the 92 body kit, 17's and my pair of 89 z28's here is a picture of them. brad
