How do you insure it??? The car or just the WHEELS???

hahaha if it took me 3 years to save up and buy my car... and those rims cost with rubber about $1000 less than my car... i'm going to be saving up another 3 years to buy those rims...

I'm sure you can find some cheap knock-off rims that look exactly the same for half the price........IF you want to.....

i would spend 2,000 tops on four rims and tires..

 

Very sweet rims, but for more than my car is worth.. haha, I dunno if I would do that.

 

I like all of HRE's wheels. Just that they are so darn expensive. I couldn't justify putting 2500 wheels on a car worth barely half of that (talking about my car). Good choice none the less.

 

At first I was like, hmm those look pretty nice. When I saw the price I was like, well does it come with a car? Nice but way toooo much $$$.

 

As much as I like those wheels, I don't think I could ever bring myself to spend that kind of money on them, knowing what sort of engine mods I could have instead. Plus, spending that kind of money on wheels for a car that gets driven daily or even occasionally is just nuts. I could be 95% as happy with ROH wheels and not have to stress over curb rashing them.

 

Curb rashing? Do always park on the sidewalk or something. Even when I park next to a curb, I'm a good 8-12 inches away from it.

 

dam i am so in love with these rims...

i would so work a year to buy them, but i know they'd get stolen in a day where i live!

 

OH ****! They would be worth more than my car! Well not to me...blue book and the going rate on ebay.

 

The point is **** happens. It's not like I drive around looking for curbs to hit.

 

Yeah man HRE wheels are very very expensive. But you do get what you pay for. Check out the new 8 series!! They run from $1200-$2400 a wheel! hahahha!!
