Decals (Not trying to beat a dead horse)

Hi guys! I am brand new here but have been reading what goes on for a while. Thought I'd join in since about three weeks ago I bought my '86 Iroc. Anyway, I need to paint my car and need some new decals (iroc-z, etc.). Have seen about 4 places to buy them, but with the varying prices, not sure which are good or not. Any ideas? Has anyone bought from these? Also, I have heard of a few people putting the decals on under the clear. Any thoughts on that? THANKS!!!!

Check out Phoenix Graphix. They have licensed GM decal sets for about any GM car you can think of, for pretty good prices. But remember that good decals arent cheap and you get what you pay for.

Nope! As long as the decals are installed properly then no problems will occur. Put them on wrong... well.

See you can teach a old dawg new tricks. J/K

Age means just about nothing here. I've seen young people who know lots, and old people that no nothing ... and Vise versa too of course. I'm 30 so I guess I fall in the middle. I know lots and I know little. LOL Lots to read and learn here. Any time you have a question try a search first, sometimes you be able to get all the answers you are looking for wihtout the wait.

Classic Industries is a tad overpriced and never seems to have what I ask for in stock, so you could probably skip over them in your search for the decals. Supposedly their stuff is the doggies danglies, though, so I dunno.

I'm more for a clean, decal-less look anyway. I do like the GFX stripes though.
