This guy doing my car does alot of custom jobbies on the side out of his garage, I traded out some work earlier this year for a paint job. Cage is supposed to be here tomorrow so as soon as that's in then I can FINALLY drop the rest of the car off, been A LONG TIME COMIN, that's for sure. When I origianlly bought the cowl-off E-bay-I did'nt realize it was short, so I had to come up with a solution to make up the difference between the front of the cowl and the front of the hood. Right now my factory hood has a 15" hole cut in it to let my breather through cause there is'nt enough clearance, here's a pic of the day I got it and why I switched to the GTA hood. Should look pretty good when it's all done-hell this guy wanted me to pull the drivetrain so he could squirt EVERYTHING-even the bottom of the floor pans, EVERYTHING, this guy is a fanatic. I had to tell him, dude, this is just a street/strip car, not a show car!!

Ya, those scopes are functional, sord of. They are open and allow cold air into the engine, but it's up to you to make a air box of some sort to seal against the scopes.. I am in the process of doing that right know, I'll post the pics when it's down, it's turning out pretty trick! Here's a pic of the underside of the hood, so you kinda get the idea of what I'm saying.
