you need a good digital camera for it to come out well.. a bigger lens tends to help, it lets enough light in that even in a dark situation (back of a car at night) you'll get a clear picture.

If you have a 35mm SLR or similar, you can reduce the shutter speed.

yeah, OK.. I did trick that one up a bit after scanning it in. But this one is like it was shot. Still not the best, but I'm experimenting.

I'm a good English boy, and don't run them on the road.

hey uk89camaro is that like a regular 35mm camera or does it have to be all high tech?

It's old tech really, but really good quality. I'm not a photomaniac, but it's a good old fashioned SLR with interchangable lenses, F stop and shutter settings. if you know what you're doing (which I don't particularly), they do fantastic stills and portrait shots. Here's my Canon 2.1 megapix taking a shot of my Pentax old timer!

SLR camera's are great cuz they are so adjustable, the problem is you have to go through developing and then scanning the pic into the comp... best bet is get a digital camera for about $300 and you'll get a decent one... but look at the lens on it.. if its tiny dont get it, the bigger the better

This one is too small

Best way with a digital is to turn off the flash and use a tripod or hold the camera really really steady.
Here are two examples. I took these while in Florida last year.

I put the camera on the concrete railing and pressed the button carefully and let the camera take the picture.

the camera I have is a Kodak DC-260
