Trans Am Fender Vetns
Trans Am Fender Vetns
I'm currently in the stages of doing some body mods to my car before i paint it.....
As you can see in the sig picture i was planning to mold some z3 fenders on the car, NOW i want the trans am fender vents...
Would it be possible to make them flush with the rest of the fender so they go only inwards??
Has anyone done this or have any pics??
Here are some pics of the vents BTW........

I don't know about flush mounting them, but here's a set of fenders that already have them mounted...
Look for the C-406R&L fender...

That looks good, but for $270 EACH, that's a bit pricey......For some reason it looks better then the Trans Am fenders that look like the entire thing sticks out.......
Any ideas on how much it would cost to cut and mold them onto an exsisting fender?

Those vents are out of a 2nd gen Z-28. It should be pretty easy to cut the hole for them to fit into (looking at a picture of a 1978 - 1981 Z-28 front fender). Don't know about cost of the vent extractors themselves...
