New Grill

I got this grill at the end of summer. I bought some cheap fog lights and put it on my 91 RS. I was just wondering what everbody thinks of them. I like it but not sure if I should keep the fog lights where they are, or make a bracket to have them further up in the grill, like the stock fog lights are.

Man that is cool. I just got my grill today from yearone, same thing you have. I love those tings. But now I don't want to put it on the car! It looks too nice, might get chipped up!

I thought the same thing when i got mine. I thought it would get all chipped up, but i had it on the car for about 2 months through rain and everything and there are no chips on it yet. I also put a coat of wax on it, not sure if i should, but it is painted. I usually use Stoner-Invisible Glass to clean it, it works pretty good.

Nice

I put the same grill on my IROC-Z, except I painted the bowtie black, so you can't see it unless you get up close.. thought it was a kinda cool touch..

It's just a matter of taste. I happen to like the location of your lights in your pic. It looks great. Keep up the good work.

I have a 87 SC Camaro. I want the grill, and I like how those grills say either camaro or have the bowtie on them, but has anyone got pulled over for not having a licease plate in the front?

I've had my car for almost 2 years without a front license plate..

Never been pulled over for it.. and even if I was, I'm not going to drill any holes in my new grill I payed $45.00 for...

Do you own a LS1 too? I see the same exact name "one2fly"n ls1.com.

Back on he subject though, grills are nice

It all depends on the cops here with no front plate though. If they are looking to give tickets there gonan pull oyu over. For the most part, they dont care.

The quick & dirty way is to clean it up as best as you can and then spray it with clearcoat

Here are some more pics. I live in Pa so I don't have a front licence plate. I think buying a new grill is your best bet, because it comes already done and is really shiney, but $48 is a lot.

I bought a new 91-92 Z28 grill for my 91 Z28 too.....very very nice!...I prefer the looks of the factory foglights though. One thing I did was bought Xenon Gas Filled bulbs for the foglights....and they are probably just as bright as my headlights!..! They look really good though.

i think it looks really good. the lights look like they have a tint of blue...maybe i'm just going crazy. but either way, i think they coordinate well with the rest of the car.

Did you do it outside? If so, it's way too cold here in D-town to be painting anything. I've clearcoated quite a few things and never had it crack. Gimme some more details & i'll try to help you out...
