Well, all my "car" related gifts.
Mmmmm, a new dist cover for a vette, polishing time
These are the correct wires for my car right?
And the biggest surprise of all, my parents took a pic of my car, and had a poster made out of it :hail:

I like! Christmas was good to me as well. I still have the rest of the family to get stuff from, but I think its safe to say that its all going towards the car right now.
I did however got something from my student loans. A $1,000 rebate! That'll set this car up for some performance mods.

Christmas was nice to me also. I didn't get many Car parts, but inbetween what i bought myself
and the stuff my parents got me it was great. My dad got me some specialty tools from snap-on :hail: I was going to be happy with craftsman! Hope everyone was blessed also.

Sweet man. I need me some MSD wires/cap/rotor/coil... Here's what I got, and I HIGHLY recomend them. Anyone here that needs them, screw polishing your 15+ year old stock crap, new ones are a billion times better...
I need to get some of those clear lights, mine look horrible. However, I did have 1 cool present. My parents gave me a GM Performance Parts ''Fast Burn 385'' Crate Engine for christmas. I am so excited, I can't wait to put it in. Hope the rest of you got some good gifts also.

My relatives know I love the car....so they try. But what did I get....for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW.....that Turtle Wax complete car kit. To all those that may have gotten one....beware. The wax will actually make your paint look duller. I'm going to dump the turtle wax products out of the nifty bag it all comes in and fill it with some Meguiar's products. I think it's about time Zaino started making holiday gift backs!

Not to be rude, but WHO THE F**K GETS AN ENGINE FOR CHRISTMAS? Or who gets their cars paid off from their parents? Man, I wish my folks were loaded.
Anyway, I got some cool stuff, 14x3 K&N open element, ssbc front brake upgrade, and a cool die cast of a 73' SD455 T/A, along with a die cast of the 68' Stang in Bullett. Good Christmas.

Even if my parents were rich, they still would not buy me an engine or paint job for christmas. They will shell out thousands of dollars if it is school related, but other than that - nope. I never ask for anything on Christmas because there is not much that I want this time of year. I get stuff all year long so Christmas is just another day to me. I prefer to buy my own Christmas gifts (after Christmas) so I can avoid receiving anything I don't like or can't use.
I still enjoyed my Christmas until 1:30 am when I swallowed a piece of lamb chop that was too big for me to swallow and spent the next 5 hours trying to wash it down.
Sounds like a lot of you guys had a good Christmas too.

It'd be nice to get all car stuff.
I got a few things that people 'think' you want, but ya don't......
like 2 shirts, a sweater, socks (which IMO are always a good thing), lighters, a base ball (from 10yr old son), and a tin picture of some 53-67 'Vettes.
The stuff I got that I like more are
$100 from Ma & Pa
$500 from Granny
<--- This book, a buffer, and an angle grinder from my wife
We did get my 3 1/2yr old son something really cool though.

For christmas I normally get a couple of shirts and some other little things, nothing major. So actually getting something worth money is new to me. I have paid for my car and education so far, so don't think i have an easy life and my parents are loaded.

I agree that getting a 4.0 in college is not all the easy. The closest I came was a 3.5. There are just too many distractions (thirdgen.org for example) that prevent me from achieving that elusive 4.0.
Everyone has a different financial situation. I don't care what class someone belongs in because It doesn't affect the way I act towards that person. Not all rich people have an easy life.
I have a very easy life right now since all I have to do is go to school. I got grants and scholarships that paid for most of it so that I only have to work in the summer time.
I hope you guys are enjoying your gifts. I can't wait to get some universal HEI distributor boots for my MSD wires so I can finally put them back on my car. I want to get some foglights too and put them behind my plastice mesh.
The only thing car related that I got was GTA Vice City. That's all I need to fill my days until I go back to SIU on the 14th.

LOL. I was quite the lady's man back when I was in daycare through 5th grade. I don't know what happened once I got 6th grade. Before, all I had to do was show up - now I actually have to try. I hate working hard
. Powerwheels were fun as kid. I was more paritial to the big wheel until the big plastic tire developed a flat.
Would it have killed some one to make those wheels with real rubber tires.

lol
