Hi 1982chevycamaroz28!
I have a question for you!
Does the maker of the fiberglass hood on the GTA make the Ram Air air box also? If not, do you know who does???
All the cars look great!!
By chance, do you know a guy who goes by the name TAdan? He lives in the same town as you! He has a 1984 Trans Am with a cowl hood.

Thanks,

George

yea i know Dan (TADan) he's cool. but the maker of that hood the RA2 u dont want to bother with , Thirdgen.org used to have that company who makes the hood as one of the sponcers but for some reason the company started to really slow down and then they were taken off of our sponcership thingy at the top of the page. id say try and find another company that makes that hood. and the air box u have to order that with the hood i think. but i think it wouldnt be that hard to make one out of sheetmetal to fit the size of filter u want under there.

Hey Tim, Nice pics. Hey next time you guys are out cruising and taking pics let me know, Id be happy to tag along. You know where I live (Right down the street from where those pics were taken )

Steves GTA looks neat, I have not had a chance to check it out in person yet though. I like the R/A set up.

Your car looks good too, like usual. I really like the 82-84 Z's.

I think we will need to get a pic of all the cars in the pics, Kevins Iroc, and your brothers cars and my 84 together, thated be cool.

Anyway, take it easy.

Nice cars, they all look good. You make me jealous, because my car is in the garage for the winter. Can't wait to get mine out in the spring. Is that primer on the hood of the GTA?

I'd take the GTS stickers off of the taillight covers.

Ibrohez:

yeah theres a motor (under all the sh**)under the hood of the firebird(my car). Its a 350 carb(13000 mies). Ive been meaning to do away with the A/C and some of the other clutter thats there, but its winter and i cant do much right now(crappy weather). Mods to come: rebulit 750 cfm stage 2 q-jet, edelbrok intake manifold, cam shaft, cowlded hood, larger heads, pistons, and more that i dont have money for right now.

its ok my lo3 in my 91 RS is about the same way. What gets me is the air conditioning in it is colder than any other car i have ever ridden in, and my friends 87 irocs wasnt when he had it, and i think it is colder than his 89 irocs, and my brothers 85 trans am before we removed the air conditioning.

white firebird

the A/C actaully doesn't even work. I really gotta get it outta there but i dont know if ill need a belt to replace the A/C belt when i take the compressor off. I dont really have a lot of time to work on my car(school, work, etc...) It used to have a 305 but the guy who i bought it from put a 350 in it. This caused a lot of problems cuz all he did was put in the engine and left the old tranny in there. The 350 chewed the tranny up and i had to get it rebuilt. Not to many mods yet( hooker cat back exhaust). But it has over $4000 in new parts. I wanted to make it reliable before moding it. BTW its an auto, i hope to kit either a shift kit or aleast a shift improver kit. The thing about this car is, that its a 350 carb. computer controlled. So i have to find a carb that works with the computer or spend the extra cash to change it to a non computer controlled.
