I got neons and seat covers for xmas :)

What a cool X-mas, some blue neons and seatcovers . The seatcovers were from my GF (dragons kick ****) and the blue neons were from, well, me . I think they both look pretty cool.

Seatcovers, one on each side (dur!)

Front neon

Drivers Side neon

front/passenger side neon

I dont have a rear neon yet cuz the one that came with the package was busted so we had to send it back for a new one. The green set they ordered when they ordered my set was like that as well, one broken bulb...UPS man dont know what fagile means I guess.

I like the design of the seat covers, but it is a bit large for my taste. I lost interest in neons a couple of years ago, hint The Fast and the Furious.

easySPEEDcamaro: The neons are bigger, and glow the length of the car, but they are cold in the pics and are only glowing really bright in the middle.

devianb: The design is kinda big, i wish it was smaller as well, but they are the only dragon seatcovers we could find around here.

V6Camaroman: They are screwed on undereath, im not sure where, id have to look, i didnt install them. The kit I got was from the local stereo store and was $245 installed w/ a lifetime warranty against everything...breakage, burning out, pretty much everything but natural disasters and theft.

Here is a pic of the steering wheel cover and the switch that runs the neons, which is also blue. The steering wheel has the same design as the seat covers.

If i could ever afford it, i would have some airbrushing done somewhere on my car of some dragons and prehaps a naked girl in there somewhere...

The Dragon is just a liitle too big, but hey you got the right idea when it comes to dragons....

smaller is better.........although anything free is always nice! a bit much for my taste but it's your car right!

love the neons.........they don't glow that bright, cold or not shouldn't be a concern. but if it is they are still nice!

streetglow is the only way to go as of now when it comes to that stuff. $140 for a lifetime gold series and they are the brightest out there.

isn't xmas great........more mods, more fun!

#1: I hear 2 things. one is that they are only illegal if you can see the bulbs. the other is that they are illegal no matter what BUT I got pulled over last night (I thought for the neons) and got a speeding ticket for PASSING (assshole didnt give me time to slowdown before clocking me) and the trooper didnt say a damn thing bout the lights, so iunno.

#2: They do glow brighter once they warm up, I unno why, the neon I had inside did the same thing, and my GFs panasonic cd player does it to. The brand is USA (thats what the reciept says) and it is a very crisp looking blue. It doesn't take long for them to warm up, but I took the pics in about a minute cuz it was COLD outside. I have gotten MANY compliments on them, not just from on here .

#3: Dragons kick ****. Have I posted pics of the dragon on my armrest? you can see it in the pic of the seatcover.

#4: When I get the money im going to get leather 4th gen seats and have dragons embroidered in the headrest and in the back seat.

!

Got some new info on the legality (is that a word?) of the blue lights...Side lights are fine as long as the bulbs cannot be seen. Font and rear on not good though. You are only allowed to have headlights, amber turn signals, and fog lights in the front, so the extra blue light makes it illegal. In the rear you are only allowed to have red parking lights, red or amber turn signals, and the only other white lights allowed are the lisence plate lights. So the blue bulb in the back is also illegal...BUT! THERE IS A WAY AROUND THIS! Its a rather simple solution really, and the cop that pulled me over for them tonight told me how to get around that law...use 2 switches (DUR! )Have one switch for the side lights and another switch for the rear lights...simple as that. I think I am going to get 3 switches though...one for the sides and one for the front and one for the back, because you cant see the front glow with the headlights on until the police get a side view of the car, and then you can catch a glimpse of them reflecting off the front GFX and the air dam thingy. But the rear light wil be easy to spot I would think, so it gets its own separate switch, and I can always shut of the front bulb if they go to pull me over and say they must be seeing things... silly cops. BAD COP, NO DONUT!!!:P:P But anyways, hope this helps
