Website with aftermarket corvette/fbody rims in 3rdgen offset????
OK there is this site that sells newer vette rims and such that are made in the correct offsets for our cars. It was posted here a long while back and I have lost it. I searched and searched but could not find. Anyone have it ?

Are you looking for www.performancewheeloutlet.com ? They show 4th gen wheels and corvette wheels but not all of them will fit our cars. One ad in a mag said that the Z06 wheels would fit, but i called to double check, it was a misprint! I don't know if thats what you are looking for. You could also try Fiske or Simmons wheels. They are custom made but you might see them on some 4th gens and 3rd gens. They are not cheap just to let you know. good luck

which wheels specifically? the ZR1 style, C5, ???
no one makes those in the proper offset, spacers are required.
i've seen a few sites that say their wheels will fit all year f-bodies, but they just mean they will fit with spacers

i'd like to know as well.
i know with adapters you can fit any wheel you'd like and it will be just as strong as normal; although it would be nice to have the proper offset.
stay away from performancewheeloutlet, after looking up some info over the last few weeks i've found that they have very poor wheels.
O.E.concepts seem to offer the best vette knock-off wheels and are competatively priced.
if you do find a company that makes our offset please let me know as well.

use yahoo and type their name in or more exactly type in z06 wheels and see what comes up.
there's a guy with a 4thgen who purchased some z06 wheels from them and it cost him over 500 to fix the wheels as well as many months of problems....i'll see if i can find it myself and post the link.
also said their allowable build tolerance for their wheels are great and often many wheels they sell aren't very round...in otherwords don't roll evenly or safely.

this isn't the only one i've found....but definately up there for the worst.
i've been told their chrome plating doesn't last very long and they are terrible with their warranties from people that sell their products. even one story like the one below is to many...but a couple. no way. there not that cheap either.

ever heard anything bad about AAA Rims?? Performance Wheel Outlet and AAA Rims are the only places I know to get 17" Iroc rims...
other than the fact they use old rims and refinish them no i haven't.
like i said it depends on the exact wheel your looking for and every other factor under the sun. right now i've only been looking into the corvette wheels and as far as they are concerned beside buying a new or used set of original vette rims and paying to have the tripple platted whichi is 3 times the price i think i will probably go with o.e.concepts.
but, who knows; i've been looking so hard maybe i'll find something wrong with them as well?
all i know is if you read the stuff on that site there is no way i would buy anything from a company that would allow such a discrepancy in design.
they could be lying, but he isn't the only one i've heard it through. why take a chance. unless you could see and try the product upclose and in person i wouldn't take the chance.
while 1200 isn't a whole lot for wheels it is alot of money. just my .02 though.
