Havn't got it on the car yet. Still working on getting the engine tuned properly, and fixing little leaks.

heres a pic of my 3" Harwood hood. Overall. I hate the way it fits. I think I got a Monday morning hood or something.

My harwood hood didn't fit very well either it took a lot of sanding and grinding to get it to fit flat and striaght.

I think the harwood is designed that way for a reason. It doesnt fit good right out of the box, but they designed it that way so you can get a good fit with many different cars of the same model since almost every car is different in their own way. All you have to do is a little sanding and you have a pretty good hood I think. I've also heard it helps protects the hood during shipping, which would have helped on my ss hood since it had the corner broken off during shipping.

I just saw the latest issue of chevy high performance today and there was an article in there about installing a harwood cowl hood on my generation camaro and they said it was a direct bolt on. They said it was a 2 inch hood. Does the 2 inch not need trimming like the rest or what? There was no mention of sanding or anything, just a direct replacement. If this is the case I think I have just found my new hood!

I've got the 2 1/2" Harwood (see above)....I had if prof. installed while I was having the car painted, but no one at the shop mentioned any kinds of problems with it at all. As far as I know..it was a direct bolt-on with no or little work needed.

I know they have 2 inch scoops but I didn't see any 2 inch cowl hoods. I did see a 3 inch.
