heres my 92 RS, i've had the car for about 3 years now, its went from a stock 3.1RS to its current form with the L98 crate and TBI induction. I've been in quite a few shows around here and won a few, i work my a$$ off to keep the car in show form, but i also drive the car everyday in the summer and run it hard, including drag races and road racing, hope u like.

My beast at a show this past season:

 

Interior with the t-top braces.

The monkey ia a club mascot. It gets passed around to members from month to month.

Here is the engine. All color coordinated....

 

Hey what is that you have holding the t tops up there redrafi?

 

I got some brass rods at Home Depot. The are slightly smaller then the diameter of a pencil. Joe bent them into and eye on one end and an L on the other. The eye goes around the t-top pin and the l goes in the hole where the pin usually locks. You have to becareful how tall you make it, it is very unstable at much more then 3 inches. The ends have to have some rubber silicone hose on them to make them a touch tighter fit and less likely to slip. The curve of the t-top makes it rock. A gut of wind and you are left with splinters of glass on the ground. To be sure no one messed with it I made Door bars. The came from a junk yard cars engine bay. They were some braces on an old 70's car. I bent the ends and notched them to fit around my poppers and door pin. Its hard to see in the pic, but it keeps the kids out.

This pic was taken at the Houston Thirdgen Gathering II. The same car won 2nd in the Arkansas Pontiac Association 82-02 Trans Am class.

 

 

i was always wondering this.....do u guys think that my camaro is show worthy.....i mean at like small shows not like huge ones.....u know.....but maybe at least if i leave the hood closed

 

it is worth what you think it is worth, i used to wonder the same thing, so what i did was i went to the local show, checked out the other rides and if i saw a car with equal or more flaws i would enter.
