I'd like to devalue that thing with some sweet 1/4 runs or some general cruising. A car should be driven, i don't care how rare it is, it should be driven.

I don't understand how exotic sports cars have such low mileage...
I would drive those things everywhere......

I would definitly want to drive that. 11 miles!!!!
I think that the cars price is how much the owner is willing to accept to part with his car, In other words it is worth $25000 to him.

I'm no car expert or anything, but I don't think that it is good for a car to sit for 16 years without being driven. I could be wrong and correct me if I am.
Also, I agree that cars are meant to be driven, and that one should be.

there is/was (im not sure if its still for sale or now) a 87 iroc for sale in the paper about a year ago. it had 2000 miles on it and they wanted $15k for it. i thought it was a type-o (5,000) but i called the dealership and 15k was the actual price. i asked him if he was actually serious and thought he would get that much for it. well id call every few weeks askign him if he brung that price down any (just to **** him off) but he never budged. eventally i stopped calling.. i wonder what ever happened to that car.
Would this not be worse than the I-Roc that was brought up here a couple weeks ago? Why would you pay all that money for the car and let it sit there for 16 years? I guess if I am going to pay $15,00-20,000 or more for a car I am going to drive it and get my money's worth. It is a good looking car though. Just my two cents.
I think some of you guys are missing a point here as to the price of the car. The car was probably about $22,000 when it sold in '87 (which we know that it didn't, but that's the sticker price).
Now, we're 15 years later in time, but the car itself is STILL BRAND NEW! It's tight, it's straight, it has a fresh engine which has never been taken to the limits... Everything on this car is brand new as the day when it was first built.
$25,000? Heck yeah, I would pay that amount for it. Remember, they don't make these any longer. Sure, I could find a 4th gen that's faster for less money, but it would be USED.
Also, just think about the car shows you could take that car to. It would walk away from other cars in the original catagory.
Just my thoughts on it.

There is NO WAY that car sold for $22,000 new in 1987. My '89 Formula 350 sold for $15,500 brand new.
I would pay no more than $15,000 for it. If was an '89-'92, I would pay up to $20K.
I would buy the car and DRIVE IT!!!! Not very much, but it would get driven.

That's awesome,it's almost like having a full size diecast car.
I have, well use to,a '73 Camaro and I frequented www.nastyz28.com. Last year someone had posted a link from ebay of a 23 mile '80 Z28.The guy drove it straight from the dealership and put it on jackstands. That thing was beautiful, black on black and silver decals. It had little to no rust underneath but had dust everywhere on the engine. If I had the money I probably would have bought it,was asking $15k.

Car is easily worth $20-25k...
Would I pay it ? Naw, I'd wait for a low mile TTA or like 1LE or something...

If I had that car I'm not sure if I'd drive it at all now. Imagine the look on peoples' faces when you tell them you own a 3rd gen with only 11 miles on it.
No one would believe you though!

Maybe the guy bought the car before he went to prison for 16 years.
