converting file types?

converting file types?

anyone know what program i need to convert the file types i have. i have avid of my car doing dounuts and a burnout, but right now it is 37 megs, 30 secs long. it is a mp2 file. i need to get it to a mpeg file so it will be less megs. also i can't even play the mp2 file right now. wha kinda player do i need to play that? it won't work in windows media or quicktime? any help would be GREATLY appreiciated!

great stuff there file just about anything... im sure you can find a file converter
