well i've seen people put flames on their paintjob, but as i was browsing some supra boards i came across this idea too. i think it's very original.

i saw a picture of a camaro with small black flames coming from the front corner of the door windows... off the plastic piece by the wing mirror. i thought that was pretty damn cool.

kinda like this pic .. except not ugly, and not drawn on in 2 seconds.

ive seen a forth gen trans am with window flames that looked good. they cut holes in the tint to look like flames, so the whole window was tinted except where the flames were. kind of the opposite of that supra.

Eh, i see it alot on trucks and "sport compacts" down here. The supra is actually one of the bettter looking ones, but if thiers laws against tint on the side windows where you live easy, gonna have to play it "sneaky".

my friend did it with his old bustedass capri. it looked really good. he used regular 20% tint on the bottom half of his windshield then he drew flames up with a sharpie then cut it out with an xacto. it turned out really good. theres a story that goes behind it ....one day when he was racing at Milan in MI his carburator caught fire or something and flames were shooting out of his hood scoop and top of hood... ... anyway it turned out pretty cool. if i had the time to spare i would try it. whether or not id keep it is another story......

I've seen it quite often, but it usually looks pretty trashy. It looks alright on that Supra. I think it's because it's still all tinted, not half tinted and half untinted like I usually see.

I think if you have any kind of flame on the window, it should be ghosted so that it doesn't tamper with visibility and local laws regarding window tint.

Opaque flames I would have to say no to. What's next, painting the tops and bottoms of the windows so that you have a tiny slit to look out of all in persuit of doing something that may or may not look cool.

why the peeling off in ontario? I have 20% all around, and havn't had a problem. I can't see having a design causing any more problems than having plain tint

EXACTLY, I see that every day on trucks and cars and looks just retarded and here we have whats called the cali lift ( for trucks) where you just lift the front of the truck so you look like a freakin moron! If you want to do the window tint flames try to make it ghost like that would look the best to me I think. Anyone know of anything you can put on the windows for a ghost affect? That would be neat you could have like a skull or something that you can't see from the inside and but you can just see at the right angel from the outside. I know you can get things for truck windows that look like giant paintings in the rear window but from the inside looking out you don't see it.

i think it would look excellent if they took out the blue flames and leave it grey like that sorta like ghost flames.
