how much do those suckers cost, and how do they work, can you change the ride height to several diffrent heights ? What would those do on a serious street machine, is it practical for drag purposes, or would shocks be better ? How often do those bags go out ? annnnd im spent

Hey thanx bubbakutz!Yes you can adjust bags to any ride height you want.I dont know how air cylinders would be easier, installing a bag with reverse cups on the top and bottom is just like installing a coil.Cant get easier than that!
The biggest hassle you are going to ghave is going to be compressors.I at first was going through them every week.Bags are high maintenance, fitting have to be tightened, bags must be checked for rub, valves stick and break, its endless.the wost is the compressors for sure(and the bags if you keep blowing them due to rub)I spent $600 canadian after tax JUST for the bags, and that doesnt include the brackets(cups)We simple made them up ourselves(friend owns a mahine shop)
As well, youll have to worry about clearance in your wheelwells.Im running 18"s with 35 series tires. Now they are not that wide of a tire so i have no problem withthe lips in the wheelwells. But an 18" tire is tall.Im actually running out of room for the tire to go up now. With the stock bumpstops, its fine,by about 1/8th of an inch!
Im upgrading to 3/8" tall bumpstops, theyll give me another 1/12" of drop,so no i have to 'make' room in my front upper wheelwell. The back ones are fine.Goodluck.
Expect to spend at LEAST $1000-1200 on parts and supplies.Thats canadian.I did the install myself,so there was no cost for that.Brislands Custom Shop(My towns Custom Shop)Charges $800 to do a basic front to back install.
